Solar pool heating works very simply. First, a connection is made to your existing pool pump and filter system. By setting the system to clean your pool during the daytime, you send the pool water through a series of panels mounted on your roof or in a convenient location near your pool. Each panel is comprised of small tubes that efficiently expose the flowing water to the solar heat collected by the panel. The water absorbs the solar energy, increasing its temperature, and returns to the pool. By adding a thermostat, the water moves as long as solar heating is effective, or until you reach your desired pool temperature.
The best part about solar pool panels is that they are long-lasting, have no moving parts, and require no electrical connections. Any extra control systems usually operate off the same electricity that runs your pool pump. We mount Heliocol panels side-by-side in a sleek array with no unsightly hoses or clamps. The panels are wind-resistant and do not need to be strapped down, adding to their low-profile that fits in with your roof.
Solar panels work on a variety of surfaces and orientations; Solaron is expert at analyzing each pool, roof and yard to maximize performance and efficiency.
